Bridal boudoir photoshoot – why would you?

Minh Cung December 8, 2019

Marriage is a beautiful celebration and gesture of love of two people in front of their closest family and friends. It is lovely, but, as much as people say it is, it really isn’t all about YOU. A bridal boudoir photoshoot on the other hand is ALL about you. It’s about you, for you and by you. And me as your photographer of course.

I recently give you some guidance on what to wear for a bridal boudoir photoshoot (in case you missed it - my previous blog post). So now you know that you can wear your wedding day lingerie, your wedding night lingerie, your wedding heels, veil or something else to signify your day and commitment, but maybe you’re still wondering WHY you’d have a bridal boudoir shoot at all?

There are plenty of reasons, so I’ll give you my top FIVE favorites:

  1. It’s a special tribute to a special moment in time – these photo’s will be something for you (and perhaps your partner) to look back on, freeze the love in time for yourself and for them to celebrate the milestone forevermore.

  2. Time for you! Your wedding is on its way and although it will be beautiful, it won’t all be about you. This shoot will! From the theme, to the clothing, the poses and the final selected shots.

  3. A vivid celebration of your beauty, boldness and empowerment. Stepping outside of your comfort zone to do something so brave will help you feel exhilarated and feel of life.

  4. Preparation for your time in front of the camera on your big day, on your own terms. After your shoot with me, you’ll be comfortable and confident to take control on your wedding day.

  5. Your partner will love it! What better a gift between lovers than a photoshoot of you in your natural beauty with a reminder or two of your commitment to them.

Something else to keep in mind is that we can begin or end your bridal boudoir photoshoot in a style that is completely unrelated and looking at the images and feeling the power, it’ll be like you’ve had two shoots in one!

Why not take advantage of the extra work you’ve been putting into your beauty regime leading into your wedding and capture it forever
